Geomodel is an Italian workshop specializing in paleontological and anthropological reconstructions, internationally recognized and appreciated for precise technical creations of three dimensional models of dinosaurs, reptiles and prehistoric animals in scale and real scale; applauded for scientific accuracy because of the active role paleontologists play in the process of creation, in terms of anatomic, reptile skin and environment studies. The work is also characterized by the skill and methods applied to creating sculpure in resin and fiberglass as well as new innovative processes.

Geomodel was established by a group of professional sculptors creating work for theme and amusement parks as well as scenography for theatre, exhibitions and public spaces. With the accumulated skills and knowledge from this beginning Geomodel expanded its field of work to specialize in the reproduction of animal and plant life forms from the Mesozic Era, adopting scientific methods directed towards didactic exhibitions and museum installations.

Today Geomodel can consult and collaborate with the best professionals in the field of paleoart: sculptors, painters, scenographers, paleontologists, anthropologists and archeologists.

After years of commissioned projects, itinerant exhibitions and cultural events, Geomodel has a varied and impressive catalogue of creations: now this collection is available to rent by institutions, public and private societies in Italy and internationally, thanks to the role of Geoexpo, building and maintaining relationships, handling the organization, transportation, assembling and installation of exhibitions.
